|7/12/2018||Marcus Kruger, Chi, C|
|Kruger has been traded to the Blackhawks as part of a seven-player deal with the Coyotes.
Analysis: Kruger, who spent last season with Carolina before being traded to the Coyotes in May, returns to the organization in which he spent his first seven seasons with. The 28-year-old center is highly regarded for his defensive abilities but isn't much of a fantasy asset, having never produced more than nine goals or 28 points in a single season.
|7/12/2018||Jordan Oesterle, Ari, D|
|The Blackhawks have dealt Oesterle to the Coyotes as part of a seven-player deal.
Analysis: The 26-year-old Oesterle had a bit of a breakout season in 2017-18, recording five goals and 11 assists in 55 games with the Blackhawks. He figures to slot in as either a third-pair or depth defenseman in Arizona.
|7/12/2018||Vinnie Hinostroza, Ari, LW|
|Hinostroza has been traded to the Coyotes as part of a seven-player deal between Arizona and Chicago.
Analysis: The 24-year-old has compiled 13 goals and 26 assists over 106 career games and should be able to hold down a regular role with the Coyotes. Hinostroza is under contract for two more seasons after signing a $3 million deal with the Blackhawks last month.
|7/12/2018||Marian Hossa, Ari, RW|
|The Coyotes will take on the remainder of Hossa's contract as part of a seven-player trade with the Blackhawks.
Analysis: Hossa isn't expected to play again as he deals with a progressive skin disorder, but the Coyotes agreed to absorb his $5.275 million cap hit while also landing an expected contributor in forward Vinnie Hinostroza. While Chicago gives up a promising young player, it also manages to clear some much-needed cap space.
